This page explains how to delete your PianoSkillBoost account (an app by Jonathan Freire) and what happens to your data. There are two ways to do it.
Option A: in the app
Android app
- Open the user menu (your picture, top right).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm.
Web app
- On app.pianoskillboost.com, open the user menu.
- Click Delete account.
- Confirm.
Deletion is immediate and signs you out. If your version of the app doesn't show this option yet, use option B.
Option B: by email
- Email jonathancuento@gmail.com from the address of your Google account.
- Use the subject “Delete PianoSkillBoost account”.
- We will delete your account within 30 days at most and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name, profile picture and preferred language.
- All your practice statistics: daily progress and streak.
What is kept
Nothing linked to your identity. After deletion we don't keep any of your data.
What is not affected
- Preferences stored on your phone (language, theme, etc.) are left as they are. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.
- If you sign in with Google again later, a new, empty account is created.
